Holy shit! This is huge for me, this is my best pace/run without encountering numbness in my left foot. I put on KT tape (knowing its benefits are purely placebo), and also focused hard on trying to keep my ankle relaxed. It was pretty hot too at 92f during this run. I felt like I was pushing my lungs and heart today, which is unusual as I’m usually having to hold myself back because of my leg/ankle.
About 2 miles in, and a random dude walking my direction offered a high five, and really gave me motivation to keep pushing. If you’re ever out and about and see someone running solo, don’t be afraid to cheer them on!
